Client Privacy Notice

Mairit, Inc. operates By the Matter. To create and run a client account, we process the contact details you provide, sign-in and security records, your account's assistant connections, and the choices you make in the app. If you start a matter, we also process the brief, documents, messages, payment status, and records of who confirmed or changed the request. An assistant you connect can receive only the account information and actions covered by the permissions you approve. When you personally confirm a brief, Mairit may share the confirmed brief and the contact details needed for that request with an independent attorney, as described in the client Terms. Mairit also uses service providers to host the app, deliver messages, store files, and process payments. The attorney's access and any further sharing must follow the matter's access rules. We keep an audit record of your Terms and Privacy acceptance, including the document versions, time, and channel. The app also records your own confirmation separately from an assistant's activity. Details about retention, deletion, international processing, service providers, contact rights, and changes have not yet been established in this notice.
